Privacy Notice

1. What this site collects

• Contact form: the name, email, and message you submit, so I can reply.
• Subscribe form: your email address and the date you subscribed, to send occasional updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• Phoenix AI assistant: the messages you type are sent to the AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a reply. Please don't share sensitive personal information in the chat.
• Analytics: aggregate page and feature usage statistics. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.

2. Who processes it

Data is handled only by service providers acting on my instructions. I do not sell personal data.

• Supabase: database storage for contact and subscriber entries.
• Resend: sending transactional and update emails.
• Anthropic: powering the Phoenix AI assistant.
• Vercel: hosting and serverless functions.

3. Where it's processed

These providers process data in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on the appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) offered by each provider.

4. Cookies & local storage

This site stores your theme preference and a few non-identifying values in your browser's local storage so your settings persist between visits. It does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Your rights & erasure

You can ask me to access, correct, or delete any personal data this site holds about you. To unsubscribe from updates, use the link in any email. For everything else, including erasure of your contact submission or subscriber record, email byosekumbuga@gmail.com and I will take care of it.

6. Changes

I may update this notice; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
